white river

Just 25 miles north of Crosbyton, Texas, you'll find a tributary of the salt fork of the brazos river, White river Lake Reservoir. Water levels vary here, in a part of Texas that doesn't see regular rain fall. when lake levels are low, boat ramps may be unavailable. The fishing at white river is surprisingly well, with this being one of the few lakes in Texas to hold walleye. there are lots of big crappie, catfish and large mouth bass as well. camping is available in designated camp sites, and there are RV sites on the east side of the lake. Unfortunately, not near the water.  The marina offers live bait, a few groceries, and a kitchen that servers up hot meals.
