Millers Creek Reservoir sits about 17 miles east of Munday Texas. The lake has a surface area of 2,212 acres, and a max depth of 46ft, with 4.8ft of fluctuation and normal clarity of 1 to 2 ft. of visibility. Rocky shorelines, standing timber, and random brush piles provide ample habitat for the variety of species that live here. Large Mouth, White/Hybrid striped bass, Sunfish, Catfish and Crappie are in healthy populations. There is a fishing dock that extends far enough into the lake to remain above water in droughts, and a nice boat ramp with a very large paved parking lot. One of the best things about Millers creek Reservoir is that its completely free. No entry fee, no boating fee, no dock fee. Even camping is free. dispersed camp sites are available along the North East side of the lake. Live bait can be found at a local baitshop in Munday.
